Help improve prenatal care.
Pregnancy and postpartum experiences matter — and your voice can make a difference.
We’re conducting a research study at UCSB to better understand prenatal care experiences from both patients and medical providers. Our goal is to identify sources of stress during pregnancy and postpartum, uncover barriers to care, and co-create solutions that improve communication and support between patients and healthcare teams.
Who Can Join?
Pregnant individuals or those who have given birth in the last 2 years
Prenatal healthcare providers (e.g., OB/GYNs, nurses, midwives, doulas)
What’s Involved?
Complete a short online survey (15–20 minutes)
Optional follow-up interview to share more of your story
Participants receive a $25 gift card (and an additional $10 if selected for an interview)
Why Participate?
Your input can help shape better prenatal care — care that is respectful, responsive, and supportive. You’ll contribute to a growing conversation about how to build more equitable, patient-centered maternal healthcare.
